MechanicsCrafting

Berries are useful for paint, Mossy Snorlax offerings, cooking, and PP recovery. There are six key berries to track down, and once you find the trees you can scale up production using the 3D Printer.

All Berry Locations

  • Lum Berry: Rocky Ridges, beyond Gimmighoul's Manor in the lava area.
  • Pecha Berry: Rocky Ridges, on a side path near the Lava Lake behind a Cut obstacle.
  • Aspear Berry: Bleak Beach, inside a Poke Ball near the waterfall.
  • Chesto Berry: Bleak Beach, near Smeargle's usual location.
  • Rawst Berry: Sparkling Skylands, on the upper-left island below a vine-covered drop.
  • Leppa Berry: Commonly grown on berry trees across the world.

Berry Farming

Once you have a berry tree, photograph it and print copies with the 3D Printer. Trees cost 1 Rare Pokemetal each to reproduce.

Berry trees generally produce 1 berry per hour, up to 3 stored berries per tree. Multiple trees together make a reliable orchard.

Berry Uses

  • Paint: give berries to a Crush-specialty Pokemon to make paint.
  • Mossy Snorlax offerings: berries are valid offering items for Snorlax statues.
  • Cooking: several recipes depend on berries. See the Cooking Guide.
  • PP recovery: berries help restore Pokemon work energy.

Tips

  • Get Scyther early for the Cut upgrade needed to reach Pecha Berry.
  • Berry trees continue producing indoors, so house space can be used for orchards.
  • You cannot copy raw berries, only the trees.
  • Onix and other Crush-specialty Pokemon are strong for paint production.
